How Oseltamivir should be used:

To gain the most benefit, do not miss doses. Use as you have been told, even if you are feeling better. Start this drug within 2 days of flu signs (these include fever, cough, headache, feeling tired, weak muscles, or sore throat). Take with or without food. Take with food if it causes an upset stomach. Drink lots of no caffeine liquids unless told to drink less liquid by your doctor.

Common side effects of Oseltamivir:

Feeling dizzy. Rise slowly over a few minutes when sitting or lying down. Be careful climbing. Belly pain. Upset stomach or throwing up. Many small meals, good mouth care, sucking hard, sugar-free candy, or chewing sugar-free gum may help. Loose stools (diarrhea). Headache. Feeling tired or weak.

Skip the missed dose and go back to your normal time. Do not take 2 doses at the same time or extra doses.
