This is taken for a 12-week period. In some patients (for example, patients with renal impairment or renal disease) the dosage may need to be adjusted. For treatment of Chronic Hepatitis C (HCV) without cirrhosis or with compensated cirrhosis (Child-Pugh A), Sofosvel is taken alone. For treatment of Chronic Hepatitis C (HCV) with decompensated cirrhosis (Child-Pugh B and C), Sofosvel is taken in combination with ribavirin.
