Sorafenib Tablets

Sorafenib Tablets are recommended to treat hepatocellular carcinoma, a type of liver cancer that cannot be treated by surgical procedure. These tablets are also effective in treating kidney cancer like renal cell carcinoma in its advanced stage and also thyroid cancer (differentiated thyroid carcinoma). These tablets are classified under kinase inhibitor drugs. Advanced content of these medicines inhibits functioning of several proteins that promote proliferation of cancer affected cells. Special care should be taken while prescribing Sorafenib Tablets in case patient has lung cancer or is experiencing stomach pain or is suffering from chest pain, high blood pressure and abnormal bleeding.
